Rhea Granted Bail : Rhea Chakraborty Released From Byculla Jail; Here Is Timeline of Events

While the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate are still looking into the case, NCB on August 26 registered a case against Rhea after her chats with Samuel Miranda, Jaya Saha, and Gaurav Arya were released by ED.
Here is a timeline of events that have happened since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death:
June 14: Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment. A case of accidental death was registered by Mumbai Police and the investigation began.
July 25: Sushant’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty with the Bihar Police accusing Rhea of abetting his son’s death, theft, cheating, conspiracy, and forceful confinement.
July 29: Rhea filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting that the FIR be transferred to the Mumbai Police.
July 31: The ED registered a money laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and her family on the basis of FIR filed by KK Singh. The FIR had stated that she siphoned Rs 15 crore from Sushant’s bank account.
August 7: ED interrogated Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, CA Ritesh Shah and Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi.
August 19: The Supreme Court ordered a CBI investigation into Sushant’s death.
August 22: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CBI reached Sushant Singh Rajput’s Bandra house along with the forensic team. They also took Siddharth Pitani and his househelp to recreate the scene.
August 26: The NCB registered a case against actor Rhea and others in connection with the case. The NCB filed the case under various sections of the NDPS Act, including section 27 that specifies punishment for consumption of narcotic substance and section 29 which provides punishment in case of abetment and criminal conspiracy.
August 27: KK Singh released a video alleging Rhea of poisoning Sushant and said that she murdered him.
September 4: Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty arrested by NCB. Samuel Miranda was also arrested.
September 5: Dipesh Sawant was taken into custody.
September 6: Rhea was interrogated by NCB for six hours
September 7: The NCB questioned Rhea for around eight hours. Rhea also filed a complaint against Sushant’s sister for sending fake medical prescriptions.
September 8: The NCB arrested Rhea on Tuesday and she was taken for medical test and was produced before a court along with Showik, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant.
September 9: Rhea was locked in Byculla jail after being brought in by NCB officials.
September 11: A special NDPS court rejected the bail applications of Rhea, Showik, Samuel, Dipesh, Zaid and Abdul Basit.
September 29: Bombay High Court Reserves its order on bail pleas of Rhea Chakraborty.
October 7: Rhea Chakraborty granted bail by the Bombay High Court and releases from Mumbai’s Byculla jail against Rs 1 lakh bond.
